楊昌傑，香港中文大學哲學系哲學博士，主要從事印度哲學與佛教藝術研究。其研究興趣廣泛，目前致力於佛教及數論派的認識論研究。此外，他亦關注中國中古時期地獄觀念的流變，以及禪宗與中國書法理論的會通。
方法上強調原典細讀、跨語言對勘與概念史梳理，並在經論訓釋與社會宗教史之間建立對話。
Changjie Yang holds a PhD in Philosophy from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and works primarily on Indian philosophy and Buddhist art. His interests are broad; at present he focuses on Buddhist and Sāṃkhya epistemology. He also examines the transformation of ideas of hell in medieval China, and the convergence between Chan Buddhism and Chinese calligraphic theory.
His approach emphasizes close reading of primary sources, cross-linguistic collation, and conceptual-historical analysis, building dialogue between scriptural exegesis and social-religious history.
楊昌傑（Changjie Yang）は、香港中文大学・哲学科にて哲学博士号を取得。主な研究分野はインド哲学と仏教美術である。関心は広く、現在は仏教およびサーンキヤ派の認識論に注力している。さらに、中国中古期における地獄観の変遷、ならびに禅と中国書論の交渉にも関心を寄せる。
方法論として、原典の精読、言語間の対校、概念史的分析を重視し、経論訓詁と社会・宗教史の対話を志向する。

He focuses on Buddhist and Sāṃkhya epistemology, Buddhist art, and Indian philosophy in a broad sense. Current work centers on pre-classical Sāṃkhya thought in early Chinese Buddhist translations, and on Dignāga's relation between determination (niścaya) and self-cognition (svasaṃvedana).
主な関心は仏教とサーンキヤ派の認識論、仏教美術、そして広義のインド哲学。現在は、前古典期サーンキヤ思想の早期漢訳仏典における形態、および陳那（Dignāga）における「決定」（niścaya）と「自証」（svasaṃvedana）の関係の解明に取り組んでいる。
